There are so many things that make this a hugely beautiful and important project. The Fish Out Of Water team, headed by director/executive producer Ky Dickens, do a remarkable job handing an extremely delicate subject matter in a loving and informed way.

Kaki King scores the film. Indie music darling and totally badass guitar goddess, Kaki has composed original music for “Into the Wild”, a film directed by Sean Penn which also features two of her previously released songs. This work earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Original Score. She also recorded two tracks for the film “August Rush”, in which she appears as a guitar-playing hand double. She recorded the score for “CNN’s Heroes” among others. King also has a fan in Foo Fighters front man Dave Grohl, who who asked her to duet with him on ‘Ballad of The Beaconsfield Miners’ from the Foo Fighters’ “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace”.
